A number of surveys are undertaken by our regulator, the Care Quality Commission, or are run by AWP through companies such as the Department of Health approved survey provider Quality Health, and are designed to find out about the experience of service users when receiving care and treatment from the Trust.
In addition, our regulator the Care Quality Commission carries out ad hoc inspections on different elements of our service, and details of these are available by clicking here. The findings of the periodic surveys enable AWP to compare its performance with other mental health trusts and to track the effectiveness of improvements being made.
The results from these surveys are used to inform service improvement in AWP.
