We are embarking on an ambitious five-year plan which will help make our vision for improved mental health care a reality, and we want your help.
We have always been committed to providing safe and effective care and a continuously improving experience for our service users and their families. As we look to the future, we have to find innovative ways to deliver those services and make sure they are high quality, cost effective and respond to the changing needs of the communities we serve.
Over recent months, we've been putting together our strategic plans to make sure that we're ready for what the future holds, working with our staff and our partners to promote positive mental health and resilience.
As an organisation, our purpose is 'Working together, living our best lives'. Our strategic plans describe the actions we will take to meet future challenges and embrace opportunities to support recovery and wellbeing. We want our plans to reflect a shared ambition with our partners for positive mental health and commitment to living well. That is why we want your feedback.
Before we ask you to help us with a very short survey about our plans, we wanted to explain a little more of what we mean. You can read what our Chair and Chief Executive say in a letter they have written about our strategy, and why they'd like your support, here.
We have also created a short and fun animation which tells you about our hopes and plans in a very colourful way! Watch that via this link.
There is also a brief presentation that gives you the key points of our plans. You can view that here. There's also a longer version available here.
Now that you've had a chance to find our what we are planning for the future, this is your turn to tell us what you think. We would be very grateful if you would spend just a couple of minutes filling in our survey at this link.
Once we have all of the responses, we will announce how they will help us shape the future we both share.
Our survey will remain open until 22 December and along the way we will provide opportunities for conversations with our stakeholders. More information will be provided on this webpage in the coming weeks.
