Bristol Specialist Drug and Alcohol Service throws open doors to new facilities

Bristol Specialist Drug and Alcohol Service (BSDAS) is inviting local people to take a tour of its service at 59-61 Stokes Croft. The BSDAS team will be throwing open the doors for people to drop in between 3pm and 5pm on Thursday 3 June.

The team is celebrating their redesigned facilities, which feature contemporary décor chosen to reflect the arty feel of the Stokes Croft area. Visitors can also find out more about the service over a cup of tea.

The building has been given a makeover to improve health and safety, wheelchair and pushchair access, and privacy and dignity for service users. Clever use of space also helps make the service more efficient.

The team is looking forward to welcoming local people on Thursday afternoon. The main entrance is at 59 Stokes Croft but wheelchair users and parents with pushchairs will be able to take advantage of the specially designed new lift entrance at the rear of the building.
