AWP Staff Awards 2010

The inaugural awards ceremony took place yesterday afternoon (18 October) at Bath's Assembly Rooms and the celebration was a great reminder of the huge dedication and expertise of AWP's staff.

The awards were presented by the Right Reverence Dr Lee Rayfield, Bishop of Swindon with Laura McMurtrie, AWP chief executive and Felicity Longshaw, Trust chair. Laura said: "Many of the nominations were very moving and all were of an extremely high standard. The Staff Awards recognised our inspirational colleagues and celebrate the immense value of the work done across the Trust to transform the lives of vulnerable people."

Time to Change Award: Annessa Rebair, Modern Matron, Callington Road Hospital, Bristol

Service Excellence Award: Timothy Dowling, North Bristol Assessment Service, Grove Road, Redland, Bristol

Recovery Award: Lynda Hughes, Forget Me Not Day Service, OP SBU, Swindon

Leadership Award: Martin Hember, Bristol Early Intervention Service, Colston Fort, Bristol

Innovation Award: Pierre Fox, Sustainability, Facilities Directorate, Blackberry Centre, Bristol

Unsung Hero Award: Dave Cooper, Kennet Ward, Fromeside, Blackberry Hill Hospital, Bristol

Partnering Award: CMHT & Safer Custody Dept  HMP Eastwood Park, Falfield, Wooton Under Edge

Lifetime Achievement Award: Marian Liebmann,  Inner City Support & Recovery Team, Brookland Hall, Bristol.
