Clinical psychology work experience placements now available at AWP

Placements are now available for psychology graduates - or psychology undergraduates who need to complete a placement as part of their degree course - who wish to gain valuable work experience within a clinical setting.
 
The placements available include:

1) six for the Psychological Therapies Service
2) one for the Bristol Specialised Deaf Service

Further information on these placements is provided below with links to more detailed role descriptions and adverts with information on how to apply. (These can be downloaded and displayed in appropriate areas.)

Work Experience Placements (x 6) for Adult Psychological Therapies

The roles will include: audit and evaluation; working with multidisciplinary teams; and clinical work with service users and carers.

There are six placements - one in each of AWP's localities: BANES, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 14 August.

Work Experience Placement for the Bristol Specialised Deaf Service

The role will include: audit and evaluation; working with other statutory and voluntary services; and clinical work with service users and carers.

An essential requirement for this post is for the candidate to have a minimum of British Sign Language Stage 2.

The placement will be based at St Werburghs in Bristol.

The closing date for applications is Friday 16 August.
