Join the Trust as a non executive director
The NHS Trust Development Authority is seeking applications from
those interested in becoming a non-executive director at AWP.
The role provides an opportunity to make a positive difference
to the lives of people served by the Trust and to contribute to the
future development of the organisation.
Applications close at 11 am on Thursday 18 April 2013 and
interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 7 May 2013.
Candidates must have genuine enthusiasm for improving
patient-centred care and will have gained significant senior Board
experience in an organisation serving a diverse social, economic
and cultural demography.
The successful candidate will have particular expertise in the
fields of corporate governance and risk management, as well as a
clear understanding of the needs of all sectors of the community,
especially those of the black and minority ethnic communities
served in the area.
The NHS Trust Development Authority is responsible for ensuring
that appointments of non-executive directors to NHS boards
throughout England are made in a way that is open, transparent and
fair to all applicants. All appointments are made on merit, in
accordance with the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
