Our Jack wins Swindon's Remembrance race

AWP's Foundation Trust membership administrator Jack Bancroft was first to cross the finish line at the British Legion's fundraising race 'Run2Remember' on Saturday 9 November.

Jack, who was one of  the 1,000 participants, says: "We had an AWP stand at the event to promote our services in Swindon. As I do a lot of running I was encouraged by my colleagues to take part in the race."

"I ran the 11km circuit around the park and it was a good event, with good atmosphere despite it chucking it down with rain. Of course there were lots of service personnel taking part too. I really enjoyed it and would definitely do it again."

This is the second year the event has taken place. Held on the day before Remembrance Sunday, the event aims to raise funds to support the British Legion's work with injured service men and women, and is an opportunity to show support to the Armed Forces community and remember those who have lost their life.

Well done Jack!
