Staff Awards 2013 - the results are in!

Moving and memorable, AWP's Staff Awards 2013 made for a special celebration.

Celebrating the outstanding contributions of staff and volunteers, both on the frontline and behind the scenes, was an inspirational reminder to staff and volunteers of the difference they make both individually and collectively.

As finalists from across the Trust gathered with their guests at Bath's Assembly Rooms, pride and excitement were almost tangible. This year's judging panel were so impressed by the nominations that they staged a takeover and introduced the finalists for each category, with chief executive Iain Tulley acting as compere. Many a tear was surreptitiously wiped away amidst the cheers as Tony Gallagher, Trust chair, presented the awards.

Iain said, "It was a privilege to take part in the celebration. My congratuations go not only to all our finalists and winners, but to everyone who was nominated for this year's awards, and my thanks go to all our staff and volunteers across the Trust for their continuing hard work.

"I was also delighted to announce that two of our Staff Awards finalists, Nathan Wallbank and Gareth Sharman, have reached the finals of the national Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards. Congratulations to both."

Bath-based singer songwriter Emily Maguire, who has herself used our services, rounded off the afternoon with a stunningly beautiful performance of three of her songs.

All the winners and runners up are listed below and a film of the afternoon is now available on our YouTube channel.
