Talent discovered at Green Lane Hospital

A service user has discovered her flair for art whilst on Imber
Ward.
This lady always had an interest in art work and has made some
good drawings on a previous admission. However during a second
admission, she has produced two fantastic artworks for all to enjoy
on the ward.
One is a mosaic of a phoenix rising from the flames and the
other is a drawing of a recovery tree, made up of numerous pieces
of A3 paper which are then laminated. Both will be displayed
on the ward, hopefully inspiring other service users.
Since then, the patient has been asked to do a mural on the wall
of the multi faith room at the hospitaland the OT team will be
supporting her with this commission. The local vicar has also asked
her to produce art work for his church, which she has done and this
is now on display in that church in Potterne.
Now thinking about taking up mosaic semi- professionally, this
talented lady is now looking into various college courses to
develop her knowledge about this craft.
The Imber Ward team would like to thank her for her special
contribution to the ward and wish her all good luck in her creative
pursuits.
