Dr Phil discusses BSLSpace on BBC Radio Bristol

BSLSpaceTune in to Dr Phil Hammond's show this Saturday on BBC Radio Bristol (94.9FM, 104.6FM and Digital) at 10.20am where he will be discussing with Dr Mary Griggs, the success of BSLSpace and how the Trust is working hard to make its services more accessible to all.

BSLSpace is an area of the Trust's website www.awp.nhs.uk/bslspace which provides core information about our services in British Sign Language via clickable videos and subtitles. BSLSpace will appeal to Deaf people, both service users and members of the Deaf Community across our Trust, for whom English is often a second language. There are also links to a new Deaf well-being Facebook page ('Deaf Health & Wellbeing') and to local and national Deaf health/mental health information sites and events.

Dr Mary Griggs, Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Specialised Deaf Service says "We are all really pleased with the high standard of BSLSpace and I am very grateful to all those involved. BSLSpace has been very well received and the feedback so far has been excellent."
