Celebrating diversity not division
Two events are taking place in Bristol this month to
bring people from different communities together.
Come Together Saturday 14 February 1pm
This Saturday, at 1pm the wider communities of Bristol are
invited to come together on College Green for an hour to celebrate
the multi cultural diversity of Bristol.
People of different communities will be encouraged to share
stories of common humanity and appreciation of each other and to
post selfies together on line at #1bristol. There will also be a
minute's silence for all victims of violence around the world.
Everyone is welcome at this event which is all about communities
standing together and showing unity in their diversity.
