National recruitment for Review Panel members

The National Institute of Health Research has begun recruiting for six new public Review Panel members to help them assess plans for patient and public involvement (PPI) within researcher's proposals.

The Review Panel members will be expected to act as PPI advisers. The role will include reviewing, scoring and providing feedback to shortlisted Fellowships applicants on their plans for public involvement in their research proposals. PPI advisers need to have knowledge and experience of patient and public involvement in research as a patient, service user or member of the public.
The vacancies are an excellent opportunity for patients or members of the public to help shape research and the way that it involves patients.

The closing date for applications is Monday 16 March. For more information click here.
