Bringing our Board to you
Join AWP's Board as they head out and
about.
Keen to make more decisions in the company of the people they
serve, our Board is hosting events in local communities. Join them
at their first port of call, Bristol, where they will be at St
James Priory in the city centre on Wednesday 27 May.
The event kicks off at 9.30am with coffee, pastries and a
problem-solving discussion. The session will focus on a local
clinical or operational challenge and we will invite you to suggest
and help us work through potential solutions.
The Board meeting will follow at 10.30am including a viewing of
a short film from AWP's specialised and secure services.
The event is an opportunity to influence the Board and to ask
questions and raise issues, as well as to talk with Board members
over a buffet lunch and to meet other people with an interest in
local mental health services.
A range of stands will provide information on local services and
Felice Manjengwa, AWP's new engagement and inclusion coordinator,
looks forward to meeting you at the engagement stand.
St James Priory is a unique venue in the heart of the city - you
can find it between Bristol bus station and St James' Park. Enter
through the St James café - Café Refectoire - on the far end of the
building and go through the door at the back of the café
(signposted church and meetings rooms).
