Recognising Involvement

1st June sees the launch of a new reimbursement policy for our involvees.

At AWP, we value the input that our service users and carers contribute to our activities. Having people involved enables us to provide services that are fit for purpose and are responsive to needs. We recognise the need to ensure that all our involvees are adequately reimbursed for the expenses that they incur whilst participating in any AWP activity.

The new policy will come into effect from 1 June 2015. This will affect service users and carers and is meant to provide a clear and consistent approach to expenses across all our localities. You can read more about it in the leaflet available here.
