Will there ever be a cure for Dementia?

swindon eventFoundation trust members came to the Swindon County Ground to hear about the vital work being done to understand and tackle Dementia. The event included table top displays and speakers answering questions on the current and future Dementia clinical trials.

There was also a talk from Dementia champion Hilary Doxford who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's three years ago and shared her first-hand experience of Dementia research and how it has helped her.

Engagement and Inclusion Coordinator Felice Manjengwa said, "It gave members an opportunity to learn about the fantastic work AWP is doing in the fight against Dementia. Hopefully the work being done in this arena will encourage more people to get involved in Dementia research."
