Welcome to the CQC inspectors

CQCwelcomeInspectors from the Care Quality Commission are out and about visiting our services and teams.

The inspector team, made up of mental healthcare professionals from other Trusts and people with lived experience of using mental health services will be observing care, activities and care environments in community teams and inpatient units over the next two weeks.

This is part of a routine inspection and your care and treatment will take place as usual. We will always check with you first if the inspectors want to observe your care and the inspectors know this will not always be possible. We have made many improvements since the CQC last visited us in 2014 and we welcome this second inspection, which will help us make our services even better over the coming year.

If you would like to tell the CQC about your experiences of our services, you can:

  • fill in a comment card and post it in one of the secure post boxes available across the Trust
  • give feedback using an online feedback form or by telephoning 0300 0616 161

Your feedback will be treated confidentially. The inspector will not respond individually to your feedback but may contact you for more information if you give contact details.

If you would like to talk to an inspector privately and in confidence during their visit, please tell a member of staff or contact the CQC on the number above.
