BMH EI celebrates 10th anniversary
The service - which supports people experiencing their first
episode of psychosis - marked the milestone with a shared lunch
this month. Staff were joined by colleagues from Colston Fort,
where the service is based, for the occasion.
"It was great to mark such a positive milestone. I can't believe
that it's been ten years already," says Rachel Esposito, Service
The service began in February 2007 with the aim of improving the
support offered to people experiencing psychosis for the first time
and their families. Since then the service has grown from having
six members of staff to 23.
EI currently supports over 180 service users in Bristol aged
16-35. The Service offers a range of support packages, including
talking therapies, activities and input from care coordinators.
