Staff Awards 2018

Staff Awards Banner

Do you know a member of AWP staff or an AWP team who gives exceptional care or brilliant service? If so, why not nominate them for an AWP staff award?

The categories in this year's awards offer something for everyone - clinical staff, non-clinical staff, learners and volunteers - and are open to individuals and/or teams.

Anyone - service users, carers, health and social care colleagues in other organisations as well as AWP staff - can nominate an AWP staff member or team for an award.

A judging panel will meet to shortlist the nominations for each category and then to decide the finalists.

We will also be celebrating our Long Service Awards for staff who have given a total of 30 years' NHS service.

Hayley Richards, Chief Executive, said: "We recognise that our staff play the most important role in supporting our service users, their families and carers. They are dedicated, compassionate and committed individuals who bring hope and make a real difference, every day.

"We want to celebrate them and their work and show how much they are valued. Please think about all the people you know who lead by example, who demonstrate passion and excellence, innovation and care, who go above and beyond whatever their role, and get nominating!"

Nominees who are shortlisted will be invited to the celebration on Friday 16 November.

For details of the categories and to make your nomination, visit our Staff Awards webpage.

Nominations close on Sunday 19 August but don't leave it to the last minute - nominate today!

This year, our staff awards celebrate:

  • The achievements of staff and teams

  • The contribution of volunteers and involvees

  • The dedication of staff who have completed 30 years' service in the NHS

Nominations come from colleagues, service users, families and carers and others who want to highlight some of the great work of AWP staff and volunteers and their outstanding contributions to the service we provide.

There is also a NEW Award Category for 2018 - the Service user and carer choice award. This category is exclusively for our service users, carers, and their families to vote in.
