Introduction
We want to make sure that this website is as accessible as possible for all our users. With this in mind there are several features built into the site to aid accessibility, which are outlined below.
We constantly strive to improve our website and work with both members of the public and our service users and carers to ensure the site can be accessed by all. If you have any difficulty accessing any of our content please do not hesitate to get in touch - contact the webmaster by clicking here and filling out the form with your feedback.
Compatibility
This site has been developed and tested in several internet browsers including Internet Explorer 7 and above, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome. This site will not work to its full potential for users of Internet Explorer 6 and below. We very much recommend upgrading your internet browser to the latest version.
Text size and display options
The accessibility feature at the top of every page allows you to easily change the text size to make it either larger or smaller. You can also change the contrast of the screen, for example to display white text on a black background.
Access Keys
Access keys or accesskeys allow you to get to a specific page from the navigation menu by using your keyboard. When on a page, you can use your keyboard arrows (left/right/up/down) to browse through the navigation menus to find what you are looking for.
If you have any questions on how to do this or to report any problems please let us know. Click here to fill out our feedback form and contact the webmaster
Screen readers
To assist those with a visual impairment, the site has been tested with and is compatible with a range of screen-reading software and different devices.
Languages and Google Translate
The 'Select Language' feature, appearing at the top of each page, provides a translation facility into one of 50 languages. Please be aware that AWP is not responsible for the accuracy of translation provided via this feature.
If you would like some information in another language please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).
