Emergency help

In an emergency call 999 or 111 when you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency.

  • Stay on the phone
  • Give as much information as possible, including any medicines or drugs someone may have taken.
  • Stay with the person
  • Keep any medicines to show the ambulance crew when they arrive so they can treat most effectively.
