Tourette’s syndrome is a neurodevelopmental condition that causes you to make repetitive sounds and movements. These symptoms are called tics.

Tics are quite common and affect many children, usually in early childhood. In most cases, tics tend to go away on their own. Sometimes they are replaced by different tics, or they can go away completely.
