Experiencing Chronic Fatigue can be very frustrating and challenging to manage. This free 6 session online course aims to help people understand more about Chronic Fatigue, including some of the common things that can make it worse. The main focus is on discussing techniques that enable people to better manage it and improve their emotional wellbeing.

This is an online free taught course run in a group format, so although there will be some group discussion it is up to you how much or how little you choose to take part.

This course will run for 6 sessions held on a Friday morning, starting at 10:00am and finishing at 11:30am.

This course will be running on:

  • Session 1: Friday the 13th of October from 10-11:30am.
  • Session 2: Friday the 20th of October from 10-11:30am.
  • Session 3: Friday the 27th of October from 10-11:30am.
  • Session 4: Friday the 3rd of November from 10-11:30am.
  • Session 5: Friday the 10th of November from 10-11:30am.
  • Session 6: Friday the 17th of November from 10-11:30am.

  • Understanding chronic fatigue and its impact
  • Prioritising, pacing and planning activities
  • Managing expectations
  • Dealing with unhelpful thoughts
  • Helpful ways to communicate feelings and needs

Internet access is required and you will need to use Microsoft Teams to access this course.

Important information: This course will be run via Microsoft Teams. You will not need to download or pay for this. The link will be sent to you prior to the course, where you can enter as a guest. Clear instructions will be sent to you in advance.  You will need to provide an e-mail address and have internet access with a microphone and be in a private space.

This course is open to people who are registered with a GP in the Wiltshire area.
