Our community drug and alcohol services provide specialist treatment and psychological interventions to support service users in their recovery.  

If you, or a person you care for, have a primary drug or alcohol problem that requires substitute prescribing or detoxification treatment, our teams are here to help you. We keep hope, recovery and support central to everything we do. 

As part of our work, we provide: 

  • comprehensive assessment 

  • case management  

  • specialist prescribing  

  • access to specialist psychological interventions 

We accept: 

  • self-referrals 

  • referrals from GPs  

  • referrals from external agencies with consent

Specialist Drug and Alcohol Services work in partnership with Developing Health and Independence (DHI) to provide support to anyone in Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES) who is experiencing problems with drugs or alcohol.

Bristol Specialist Drugs and Alcohol Service (BSDAS) is part of the Bristol ROADS drugs and alcohol treatment system. We provide specialist support, including community detoxes, one-to-one and group psychological interventions, maternity and paternity support, and the After Prison Prescribing Service (APPS).

REACH Drug and Alcohol Services offers support to anyone in Dorset who is experiencing problems with drugs or alcohol. REACH has three hubs in Christchurch, Gillingham and Weymouth. There are also satellite services across the county to provide support.
