Our wards provide inpatient assessment to older adults who are experiencing an organic mental health illness.  This is usually people with a dementia diagnosis whose behaviour places them or their carer at significant risk.

If you, or the person you care for, are admitted to one of our later life organic wards, we aim to help you maintain your independence, dignity and identity throughout your journey in our care.

All our wards are listed within each location below with details of the maximum number of beds on each ward. The number of available beds can change depending on certain circumstances, for example COVID-19 restrictions.

Patients are referred to each ward through community teams or transferred by other inpatient wards.
