Nominate your local healthcare hero!

Local residents who have received care from Avon and Wiltshire Partnership NHS services are invited to nominate a member of staff for a prestigious award.

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership are calling on patients, service users, their families and carers to nominate those who have made an outstanding difference to their care or treatment in the past 12 months.

The trust provides healthcare for people with serious mental illness, learning disabilities and autism in inpatient and community-based settings.

Each year staff come together in celebration of the achievements of their colleagues, their commitment to delivering the Trust values and the outstanding care they provide to patients.

Dominic Hardisty, Chief Executive of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Trust, said “These awards are a great way to celebrate and share the amazing work that our staff and teams do, and recognise those who have gone the extra mile during the last 12 months.

Ask any patient or family member and they’ll tell you that it’s our staff who make the real difference to the care that they receive.

All of the categories in our awards are special, but to be nominated by patients, services users or families/carers is a wonderful reflection of the outstanding care delivered by our teams. If someone involved in your care deserves stand-out recognition, please complete the nomination form and let us know about it.”

You can submit nominations for a staff member or team now via the nomination form on the Trust website. Entries close Friday 24^th February 2023 at 5pm.

The winners will be announced at the Trust’s Annual Awards which take place on 19^th May 2023.
