Local people with lived experience of mental health are being invited to a celebration and recognition event run by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP). The event is taking place on Wednesday 22 May and aims to support and recognise the power of lived experiences.

The in person ‘Specialised Services – Lived experiences Celebration Day’ is co-produced by members of AWP staff, involvees, peer mentors and peer support workers.

The event will feature a number of interactive workshops, opportunities to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences and inspiring talks from individuals who have overcome challenges.

Rachel Heron, Specialised Clinical Lead at AWP said, ‘We are really excited to share the inspirational work that is carried out by our involvees, peer mentors and peer support workers, we are passionate and committed to ensuring involvement is at the heart of everything we do’”.

We hope as many individuals can join us at our FREE, in-person event on Wednesday 22 May 2024, from 10am to 3pm at Trinity Centre, Bristol. Please see poster for more details.
