The Talking Therapies service run by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is offering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to manage a long term condition like diabetes.

Alongside prescribed medication, which can be incredibly effective and life-saving, there are many approaches to helping our service users manage their illness or support their recovery. Green Social Prescribing is the practice of supporting people to engage in nature-based interventions and activities to improve mental and physical health.

Local Talking Therapy services visited the Royal United Hospital in Bath to encourage staff, patients and their families open up about mental health and access support and resources if they need it.
